We got funding! 

We realised that there were a lot of parents saying the same thing, "Do you think Covid lockdowns have had a negative impact on our children's learning?" In Wales we had an extra lockdown in the autumn of 2020 between the other national lockdowns. Many families had a hard time with homeschooling, especially with the extra pressure of trying to do it in a language not native to most families.

We asked the National Lottery Wales if they would help After School Club with a plan to support our young people with "catch up classes" and they said yes!

We are delighted to start our dedicated programme of learning and development from May 2024. We have given really careful thought to how we can help the most children possible and so here are the changes we invite you to share with us:

- a weekly schedule focusing on enhancing skills and development in fun and creative ways

- guest presenters and special sessions

- widened provision to encourage children from a wider catchment area

- a new online booking system
